Sooo.. we're Bulgarian separatists eh? Well, obviously we're a Slavic people and when we open the history books the only Slavic names we see in our area of the Balkans is Serbia and Bulgaria, never "Macedonia." It couldn't of been since 2000 years of Ancient Macedonia. So obviously in some point in time we adopted a Makedonski only identity since we had such a strong regional identity and we felt as neither a Serb nor Bulgarian identity described us. Misirkov lays it crystal clear for us.

You shouldn't adopted so "obviously" "Macedonian identity" from your own region because your local region in fact is NOT Macedonia. Only very small parts of south of the region of FYROM could be admit as a part of Ancient Macedonia, but it is NOT quite sure. In fact macedonian as a local ethnogrphic identity for the bulgarians was thrown over, by the greeks in the middle of 19 century so your local identity was not very soon and as deep as a 2000 years. :-}

So it is in fact, completely Serbia's, Greece's, and Bulgaria's fault we eliminated our old Bulgarian identity and chose Makedonski. Its obvious, when we saw that some Mongrels from North Bulgaria that wanted to "liberate" us also called themselves Bulgarians, we were shocked and ashamed. Say what you want, our unique Slavic population was treated like dirt by everyone and normally we had to make complete swap of nationality and identtiy.

This unique Slavic population is NOT so unique, it is the same like the inheritors of the Asparuh. All we know the fact that Kanas Kuber the brother of Asparuh at the same time established in FYROM the 2ng Bulgarian state.

You cannot deny, that the Old Bulgarians (Agean Macedonian, Misirkov's ancestors) were the first Slavs that received language, glagolitic alphabet, etc. That is why Glagolitic, the predecesor to Cyrillic, was dervied in Macedonian region therefore it is inherently "Macedonian." So fundamental of Bulgarian language has origins from Macedonian dialect. What Misirkov wrote is completely from the heart and this writing are the origins of Makedonski nationalism in protest to Bulgarian and Serbian.

Everyone is unique in their own way but the Macedono-Bulgarians are the most unique Slavic people on the Balkans, and traditionally always opressed and forgotten. So what Tito did was simply a humane thing for the will of most people in Vardar. Just because it was "Communist" doesn't mean it was fake or wrong, it is simply for the relief of the people being sick and tired of war for the golden lands of Macedonia.

And by the way Serb Chauvinist will always hate Misirkov for what he wrote as he is was completely Anti-Serbian and said that the Serbs tricked the world into thinking there were Serbs in there when in fact there were only a few running around. It is NOT true because the language could NOT be received. The language could only be inherited. Also the first who received the glagolic alphabet in fact was Bulgarian kanas Boris in Preslav and his court. The glagolic alphabet was invented by Cyril in monastery in Olimp mountain near what is today Bursa, a region in Turkey. So Agean population could NOT get first the alphabet becouse was so distant from the area of this event.:}

I think I shall give Krste Misirkov the title of the undisputed master of the Balkans and Macedonian question. This guy did not deserve to die in poverty as his writings will eventually reveal to anyone who is interested the origins of Makedonstvo, that came not from Serbs, Russian blah blah, but from the Macedo-Bulgarians instead and his writings simultaneously reveal that it was a completely new thought at the time and not even present in the population but it spread like wildfire.

NOT true it was completely Anti-Serbian - on the contrary. The macedonism in his slavic variant was clear serbish idea of Novakovich. He wrote - because of the fact that bulgarian idea has very deep roots in Macedonia we ?serbs? could NOt withstand directly with our serbish idea. We should divide bulgarian nation by supporting new idea and such proserbish idea he saw in macedonism as a first step for taking away local macedonians from the bulgarian ethnic identity and his post serbianization.

Let's put the history aside for a moment.The nation around Macedonia which was aways helping, and it is still helping as much as it can, is Bulgaria. I dont understand why people living in today macedonia should be chouvinistic against bulgarians.
