Yes he was, along with a bunch of other world leaders. They all leaft wreaths at the Russian Tomb of the Unknowns. I was there about a week after this was filmed. Bummer I missed the big parade. All I saw was a huge procession of Orthodox priests from all over Russia marching from St. Basils into the Kremlin.

Wonderfull parade. Perfect order of the reparts. I never seen the same in other parades. Officier marching by feet on the head of the reparts not on vehìcles.

I honour all of those brave Russians who gave their lives while defending their own country. It shouldn't be forgotten though what happened to the Baltic states, eastern Poland and Finland(Winter War 1939-1940) before Hitler's invasion in 1941. And what the "liberation" by Stalin meant for Eastern Europe; almost 50 years of oppression and dictatorship. The Russians still haven't gone through their past crimes like the Germans have.
