The trick, dude, is not to read "about Misrkov" but to read what Misrkov actually wrote himself. Not only the Skopian edition of "On Macedonian Matters" but all the other things he wrote. The Diary is one of the best sources to see how he felt. The quotes I posted are just from the first 1/10th of the diary. If you want to read "about" Misirkov - read what what Ivo Banac, a famous Jugoslav historian, thiks about Misirkov - Banac is by no means pro-Bulgarian.

No one wants to change your identity - you can self-identify as you like. What we want is that you do not steal our history and heritage. You should accept the fact that Samuil self-identified as "Bulgarian Tsar", that the Bulgarian teachers who found the "Bulgarian Maced. Edrine. Rev. Committees" were indeed Bulgarians; that the folklore published by Miladinovs, Brekovic and Shapkarev was, as the titles suggest, Bulgarian folklore. Don't deny your ancestors the right of self-identification.

See this is the problem: Forget the Pope who refers to Samuil as Bulgarian; Samuil himself, in all written accounts, refers to himself as "Bulgarian King" and never as "Macedonian King". The Byzantines, who fought him for many years refer to him and his empire as Bulgarian. The emperor who defeats him is known to the whole world as Bulgar-slayer. So according to you, you know better than anyone who lived at that time, and better then even Samuil himself, what was he and what was his empire.

What about Samuil's grand-son Peter II Delyan who was also declared "Bulgarian Emperor" in 1040 was he "Macedonian" or Bulgarian? What about Ivan Vladislav and Gavril Radomir - are they also Macedonian and not Bulgarian - please let me know what have they taught you about them in the FYROM school system? What about the Father of Samuil: Comita Nikola - was he Bulgarian or "Macedonian"?

It is indeed true that Samuil was only half Bulgarian: His father was Comita Nikola, the ruler of Serdica, and his mother was Ripsimia of Armenia. On the other hand the other famous "Macedonian" emperor, Stefan Dushan, was half Bulgarian by way of his mother, Teodora. (Dushan's wife, Elena was also Bulgarian).

...that samil was a bulgarian king and not a macedonian one! but check this out! AFTER some recent INVESTIGATIONS (around the 1980's) done by AMERICAN and ENGLISH ARCHEOLOGISTS, they found out that the stone was actually from the 20 century, (a part of your early propagandas). Now my question to you is : If samuil and his empire were really bulgarian, than why do you need FALSE or PLANTED evidence on how the MACEDONIANS are actually bulgarian???? i really wanna hear your answer to this one? :)
